About Ron Gilmore Jr.

Ron Gilmore Jr. is an American musician, keyboardist, producer, and composer from Nashville, Tennessee. He is best known for his work as the keyboardist for Lauryn Hill and J. Cole’s performing bands, along with his production work on J. Cole’s certified platinum albums, Cole World: The Sideline Story, Born Sinner, 2014 Forest Hills Drive, 4 Your Eyez Only and KOD, as well as Bas’ Last Winter and Too High To Riot. He was signed to J. Cole’s Dreamville Records in 2018.

Ron has since contributed his production talents to label-mates Ari Lennox, Cozz, EARTHGANG, JID and Omen along with many other notable artists such as Earl Sweatshirt, Vic Mensa and most recently Jay-Z for his platinum Album entitled 4:44. Ron’s first ever solo musical project titled, The Maturation of Little, Ron was released on April 27th, 2016 and he is scheduled to release T A L K I N G, a suite in 3 parts in 2019.
